You may have missed it this past weekend, but Dr. Mel was featured in a health segment produced for Walgreen's drug stores that aired on the Lifetime cable network this past weekend.

The segment recaps the treatments Mel has received since he was first diagnosed eleven years ago, including drug trials at the Dana-Farber Cancer Center in Boston.

"If it weren't for clinical trials, I wouldn't be here talking with you," he said on the segment.
